I’ve never played Go. Can I start here?

Yes. The course begins with where to place a stone, how groups connect and how captures work. You learn an idea by trying it on the board.

What if I already know the rules?

Use thematic practice to work on a particular skill, revisit an idea through a lesson, or settle into a game against local AI.

What is free, and what does the subscription add?

Free Play includes unrestricted games against local AI and two players on one device. The subscription adds unlimited learning Energy and full on-device AI analysis of finished games. Launch prices and the exact learning allowance will be published before release.

Do personal exercises follow every game?

They follow AI learning games within Learn and Practice. Free Play does not automatically create personal exercises. Full finished-game analysis is a separate subscription feature.

Can I use it offline?

Learning, practice and local games are designed to work offline. iCloud sync, StoreKit purchases and Game Center features depend on Apple service availability.

Where can I download it?

Tanuki Go is in pre-release and is not available yet. This page presents the planned experience for iPhone, iPad and Mac. A verified App Store link and release date will appear when confirmed.
